Paula was born in Madrid and received an artistic education in a school based on arts and humanities. She graduated in Contemporary Dance by RCPD Conservatory, and in Philosophy by UCM University.
She has also studied dance with teachers such as Gwen Welliver, Yvonne Meier, Daniel Lepkoff, Pedro Berdäyes, Laura Arís, Ori Flomin, Nordine Benchorf and Wim Vandekeybus in workshops as ImPulsTanz in Vienna, Movement Research of New York, TanzFabrik in Berlin, or Deltebre in Spain, between others.
She has work as a dancer and choreographer, creating individual and collective pieces, in different kind of productions and festivals. She has also worked as a teacher of release technique, as well as recently of flying low and passing through techniques.
She is part of a collective in Madrid that trains and researches in contact improvisation.
In 2010 she was selected for the International Workshop “50 Days in Costa Rica: A new generation” with David Zambrano, to bring up the first generation of professionals in the techniques flying low and passing through, that he has developed.
She is interested in the manifestation of human culture and nature beyond movement and other media of art expression, including painting, photography and writing.
